This Novelty Telephone is shaped like a Desktop Computer and is a complete and utter mystery! When was it produced? Did the makers know that one day our phones would actually be computers?!?!
Judging by the design of the computer, I’m guessing that it was produced either in the 1980s or 1990s.
I can just see it on the shelves of Spencer’s Gifts at a local mall near you, in………1987!!!

This GTE Solitare 200 Cordless Telephone was manufactured in February, 1984.
This awesome AT&T Trimline Phone is Burnt Orange, has a Rotary Dial & is ready to hang onto a wall outfitted with a wall plate & jack.
The Trimline phone was introduced in 1965 with rotary dials. In 1966 touchtone capabilities were also offered.
According to the Trimline Wikipedia page:
In 1983 ‘AT&T begins selling phones, including the Trimline, to the public (as opposed to their previous leasing only policy).’
In 1984 ‘AT&T is divested of its regional operating companies and is prohibited from using the Bell name or logo, so the American Bell brand is dropped and replaced with simply AT&T.’
In 1985 ‘the rotary Trimline is discontinued…’
Because this particular phone has the AT&T logo that they began using in 1983 & has a rotary dial, I believe that even though it may have been produced in the 1960s, 1970s or 1980s, it was likely purchased between 1983 & 1985.

LONESTAR ‘Inner Works’ Transparent Telephone.
This is Model 911 which lights up when it rings. Information is limited on this and other Lonestar models, but since the federal trademark for ‘Inner Works’ was registered in 1989, I assume that is the manufacturing date as well.

This AT&T desk phone is sooo from the 1980s.
The “Great Little Phone” was trademarked by Northwestern Bell in 1986.
